Poison kills everything. Horribly.
In Canada, long-outdated policies continue to allow the use of a reckless and violent poison to kill wildlife.
Specifically, this is sodium fluouroacetate, also known as
Compound 1080. This poison is inhumane, with symptoms being extremely painful and prolonged before death.
Compound 1080 is an indiscriminate killer that has claimed many dogs in addition to wildlife.

Wolf kill programs in western Canada are unwarranted, inhumane and unethical.
The governments in British Columbia and Alberta have been directing unwarranted and inhumane wolf kill programs, ostensibly to protect declining caribou populations.
Using inhumane methods like aerial gunning, poison and strangling neck snares, wolves die in unspeakable ways, for no reason.
